Director
Reva Watson
After completing her undergraduate degree at Rhodes University, Reva began her legal career working at Linklaters and Ticketmaster in London. Returning to Cape Town, she started her articles of clerkship in the Conveyancing & Property Development department at Smith Tabata Buchanan Boyes, while also studying her LLB through UNISA. After qualifying as an attorney and working in the industry she began to realise that clients were often treated simply as a number, without a dedicated point of contact, little director involvement, untimely generic updates and low explanation of the legal process. Wanting to offer clients something more, she founded Watson Attorneys in early 2012, built on the principles of:
- Director lead
- The highest quality advice
- Cost effectiveness due to low overhead model
- Real personal service
- Genuine and caring approach
- Richer and more regular updates
- Expectation management and education
- Offer work beyond the transfer itself
Reva Watson believes that gone are the days of complicated legal jargon, as approachability and accessibility are the new necessities in the realm of personal legal counsel. In essence, Reva has “got you covered”. Her intention is to relieve client stresses, navigate them through the process, all the while solving problems, keeping them well informed and offering comprehension and efficiency throughout. Based on this, she is often referred as a breath of fresh air in the world of property law.
