DIRECTOR

Reva Watson

After completing her undergraduate degree at Rhodes University, Reva began her legal career working at Linklaters and Ticketmaster in London. Returning to Cape Town, she started her articles of clerkship in the Conveyancing & Property Development department at Smith Tabata Buchanan Boyes, while also studying her LLB through UNISA. After qualifying as an attorney and working in the industry she began to realise that clients were often treated simply as a number, without a dedicated point of contact, little director involvement, untimely generic updates and low explanation of the legal process. Wanting to offer clients something more, she founded Watson Attorneys in early 2012, built on the principles of:

  • Director lead
  • The highest quality advice
  • Cost effectiveness due to low overhead model
  • Real personal service
  • Genuine and caring approach
  • Richer and more regular updates
  • Expectation management and education
  • Offer work beyond the transfer itself

Reva Watson believes that gone are the days of complicated legal jargon, as approachability and accessibility are the new necessities in the realm of personal legal counsel. In essence, Reva has “got you covered”. Her intention is to relieve client stresses, navigate them through the process, all the while solving problems, keeping them well informed and offering comprehension and efficiency throughout. Based on this, she is often referred as a breath of fresh air in the world of property law.

Ina Burger

Ina earned her LLB from Stellenbosch University in 2015 and completed her practical legal training through LEAD at the University of Cape Town. She initially specialised in litigation, with a focus on evictions and property-related disputes, and was admitted as an attorney in 2019.
In 2020, Ina joined Watson Attorneys to pursue her passion for conveyancing. Her journey culminated in 2024 when she was proudly admitted as a Conveyancer—an achievement she considers one of her career highlights.
Ina brings a balanced, detail-oriented approach to her work and is known for her calm presence and dedication to helping clients feel confident and cared for throughout the legal process.
Outside of the office, Ina is happiest in nature—swimming, hiking, or simply spending time outdoors. Her constant companion is her dog, Pepper, who not only holds a special place in her heart but also serves as the unofficial emotional support dog of the Watson Attorneys office.

Andi Hoole

Andi holds a BA in English & Law and an LLB from Rhodes University. She was admitted as an attorney in 2021, followed by her admission as both a Conveyancer and Notary Public in 2022.
Passionate about education and community, one of the standout moments in Andi’s career has been leading training programmes for estate agents and property professionals. She thrives on connecting with people and enjoys making legal concepts approachable and easy to understand.
Her practice is rooted in conveyancing and notarial work, where she brings clarity, precision, and enthusiasm to every matter. Andi is known for embracing new challenges and is always keen to broaden her knowledge and skillset.
Outside the office, she’s a vibrant mix of curiosity and creativity—drawn to good food, new places, board games, books, and the ocean. Whether it’s a new city or a cold sea swim, Andi is always ready for adventure.

Michele Miller

Michele’s journey into property law has been anything but conventional. After matriculating in 1980, she began studying Architecture at UCT, where she developed a lasting fascination with the built environment. Although she ultimately stepped away from design after three years, her interest in property never faded.
This led her to enrol in a BA degree in English and History at UNISA, which she completed in 1992, and later register for an LLB while working as a legal secretary to gain hands-on experience.
In 2014, she formally entered the field just as the City of Cape Town introduced electronic rates clearance, and she’s never looked back.
At Watson Attorneys, Michele brings a rare depth of lived experience, an instinct for clarity, and a calm, grounded presence that clients value deeply. Property law allows her to remain immersed in the world of real estate while continuing to grow in legal expertise and client service.

Some achievements include:

Partnering a renewable energy firm involved in the Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (IPPPP) and securing land rights for the development of wind turbines over farmland in the Western and Northern Cape. New precedents in property law were set to deal with the complexity of the transaction.

Involved in the registration of Liberty Grand residential project – at that stage the biggest single registration of a sectional title scheme in the country.

Negotiation and drafting of new club development leases for Virgin Active, breaking the record for the number of new club openings within a calendar year.

Client Testimonials

G7 renewable energies have been working with Watson Attorneys for just over a year. The past matters were often complicated involving various deeds offices, various other stakeholders with existing interests and transactions triggering numerous legislative requirements. Reva and her team always successfully navigated the process, did not hesitate to go the extra mile and always exceeded our expectations with their excellent service and communication.

Reva’s calm composure ensured that stress levels were kept low. She always seemed available, regardless of the hour. Reva managed the unforseen curve balls and offered expert advice when we needed some guidance.

Watson Attorneys are amazing! Their service was professional on every level and approachable at the same, so we could understand the legal proceedings.

We have used Watson Attorneys as our deeds office and master of the high court correspondents for some time. They are always friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We can highly recommend their services.
